Refund Policy

DeclineBridge Refund Policy

This Refund Policy ("Refund Policy") is an integral part of our End User Terms of Service ("Terms") and explains how refunds are requested, reviewed, and issued for charges billed by MAUI FORESTS INC ("DeclineBridge," "we," "us," or "our") on declinebridge.com. Any terms used herein and not defined shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms.

DeclineBridge may update or revise this Refund Policy from time to time. Material modifications will be posted on our website.

1. Applicability

This Refund Policy applies to any payment that appears on your billing statement as DeclineBridge or MAUI FORESTS INC for a Transaction processed through the DeclineBridge Services.

DeclineBridge is a third-party payments platform that helps complete a failed purchase with a Merchant. DeclineBridge is not the seller. The Merchant remains solely responsible for product or service quality, shipping or fulfillment, returns, warranties, and trial or subscription cancellations.

If you do not recognize a charge, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We can usually identify the Merchant and resolve the request faster than a card-network dispute.

2. Full Refunds

DeclineBridge offers a full refund of the Transaction amount charged to your original payment method when a refund request is approved under this Refund Policy.

Approved refunds are issued in full. We do not issue store credit, gift cards, or partial refunds unless you specifically request a partial refund for a portion of a Transaction.

A full refund means the amount billed for the Transaction, including applicable taxes collected as part of that Transaction. Interchange, processing, or bank fees charged independently by your card issuer are outside DeclineBridge's control and are not included.

3. Eligibility

You may request a full refund if:

  • You were billed by DeclineBridge in error, including a duplicate charge or an unauthorized Transaction.
  • You canceled the purchase before the Merchant fulfilled the goods or services.
  • You did not receive the goods or services you purchased.
  • The goods or services were materially different from what was described, defective, or otherwise not as represented.
  • You were billed for a recurring charge after a valid cancellation.
  • You are otherwise entitled to a refund under applicable law.

For product, fulfillment, return, or cancellation requests, DeclineBridge will review whether the Transaction was completed with the Merchant and whether it qualifies for a refund under the Merchant's return or cancellation policy. DeclineBridge will assist with the request. The Merchant remains ultimately responsible for those refund decisions.

DeclineBridge processes the payment for the Transaction and will coordinate with the Merchant as needed to complete an approved refund.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact DeclineBridge using any of the following:

  • Email: support@declinebridge.com
  • Phone: +1 844-675-3457
  • Support: https://support.declinebridge.com
  • Contact form: https://declinebridge.com/contact

Please include:

  • Your full name
  • The email used at checkout, if available
  • The date and amount of the charge
  • The last four digits of the card, if available
  • The Merchant name, if known
  • Your phone number
  • A brief description of the reason for the refund

If you received an email from DeclineBridge about the Transaction, include that email or the Merchant name shown in it. This helps us locate the Transaction more quickly.

5. Review and Processing Time

5.1. We review refund requests promptly. In most cases, we confirm receipt within one (1) business day and complete our review within five (5) business days.

5.2. If we need more information from you or the Merchant, we will notify you. Delayed or incomplete information may extend the review period.

5.3. Once a refund is approved, we issue the full refund to the original payment method. Card issuers typically post refunds within five to ten (5–10) business days after we submit them. The exact posting date depends on your bank.

5.4. If the original payment method is closed or cannot accept the refund, we will work with you on an alternative method of reimbursement.

6. Who Processes the Refund

6.1. An approved refund may be issued by DeclineBridge or the Merchant, depending on the status of the Transaction when the request is submitted.

6.2. If DeclineBridge has already collected the payment for the Transaction, DeclineBridge will process the refund to your original payment method.

6.3. If DeclineBridge has not yet collected the payment, the Merchant will process the refund, and DeclineBridge will update or void any pending billing associated with that Transaction.

7. Recurring Charges and Cancellations

If your Transaction includes a subscription or other recurring charge billed by DeclineBridge:

  • You may cancel future billing at any time by contacting us at support@declinebridge.com, +1 844-675-3457, or https://support.declinebridge.com.
  • Cancellation stops future charges. It does not automatically refund charges already processed, unless those charges are eligible under this Refund Policy.
  • If you were billed after a valid cancellation request, we will issue a full refund of that post-cancellation charge.

8. Duplicate, Unauthorized, or Unrecognized Charges

If you believe you were charged twice, charged without authorization, or do not recognize a DeclineBridge charge, contact us immediately. We will investigate, identify the Merchant and Transaction where possible, and issue a full refund when the charge is confirmed as duplicate, unauthorized, or billed in error.

9. Chargebacks

You have the right to dispute a charge with your card issuer. We ask that you contact DeclineBridge first so we can review the Transaction and, where appropriate, issue a full refund without a chargeback.

A refund and a chargeback cannot both be completed for the same Transaction. If a chargeback is filed after a refund has been issued, or a refund is requested after a chargeback has been filed, we may decline the overlapping request and provide the relevant Transaction records to the issuer.

10. Time Limits

10.1. Please submit refund requests as soon as possible, and no later than one hundred and twenty (120) days after the Transaction date, in order to be eligible for direct refund processing by DeclineBridge.

10.2. Refunds requested after 120 days may not be processed by DeclineBridge. In that case, you should contact the Merchant directly. Any refund approval or processing after that period is at the Merchant's discretion, unless a longer period is required by applicable law. DeclineBridge may still review late requests for unauthorized charges.

10.3. If a refund request relates to a Transaction after DeclineBridge's relationship with the Merchant has ended, DeclineBridge may decide whether it will support refund processing. If it does not, processing remains solely with the Merchant.

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any non-waivable refund, cancellation, or consumer-protection rights you may have under applicable law.

11. Fees and Currency

11.1. DeclineBridge does not charge consumers an administrative or penalty fee for requesting a refund.

11.2. Refund approval does not reverse fees independently charged by your card issuer, bank, or payment network, including currency-exchange differences, international processing fees, or reversal handling fees.

11.3. If the Transaction involved currency conversion at the time of purchase, an approved refund is issued in the same currency originally billed. Conversion variances may occur and are controlled by the issuing bank and card network, not DeclineBridge.
